Floodgrasses

Two Floodgrass sentinels mark the passing of the Second Ponds Creek bridge at The Ponds.

The artworks are inspired by the regeneration of the creek’s riparian zone. Made by Axolotl glass with an inlaid rust pattern, the sun backlights the glass throughout the day with a pearly luminescence, and uplights illuminate the sculptures at night.
