Cammeraigal

The Cammeraigal tribe lived on the northern side of Port Jackson. They caught fish and a variety of other marine animals, hunted land animals, birds and reptiles, and gathered plants, shellfish, birds eggs and other small animals. The interpretative art poles designed by Indigenous artist Adrina Khobane in 2011, include a stainless steel fish, fishing line and copper canoe, a wallaby and goanna, birds and leaves.
Cammeraigal is located in the entry forecourt of Taronga Zoo, one of the most frequently visited attractions on Sydney.
