Memorial Park Playground is located in Meadowbank in a bushland setting by the Parramatta River.
The artwork is designed to be a series of “balance beam” experiences. Kids can climb through the cluster of forged steel stems, leaves and insects, and then over the preying mantus bridge and balance along three cicadas made from hand carved red gum and steel.
There are also two redgum leaf and forged steel seats, a butterfly way finding marker and a leaf sign.
