This site was formerly the Children’s Hospital. The playground artworks feature a sandstone bas relief column of a Nurse on duty at the entrance.  Located in the sandpit are two steel cots, with stainless steel mesh bases that allow sand to be poured through, and between the cots, lying in the sand is a ‘lost” teddy bear, as if dropped by a child and left on the floor.
